Nagaland records 60 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths on Tuesday

Dimapur, July 6 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 60 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s active caseload to 1134 and tally to 25,619.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 60 new cases detected on Tuesday, Kohima accounted for 17 infections, 11 in Dimapur, eight in Phek, six in Mokokchung, five in Wokha, three each in Kiphire and Mon, two each in Peren, Tuensang and Zunheboto, and one in Longleng.

The state also recorded 113 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 46 were in Kohima, 27 in Dimapur, 17 in Tuensang, 14 in Mokokchung, four in Zunheboto, two each in Peren and Wokha and one in Longleng.

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 23,271 while death toll touched 489 with four more fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

Nagaland currently has 1134 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 987 are asymptomatic, 94 mild, 26 moderate on oxygen, 14 severe on oxygen, six in ICU without ventilator and seven in ICU with ventilator. In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 350, 285 in Dimapur, 232 in Mokokchung, 69 in Tuensang, 40 in Peren, 37 in Phek, 35 in Mon, 34 in Wokha, 25 each in Zunheboto and Kiphire, and two in Longleng.
