Nagaland: More than 16 lakh COVID vaccines administered till date

Dimapur, May 11 (EMN): Nagaland has administered a total of 16,42,411 COVID vaccines doses including 30,728 precautionary doses for the age group of 12 years and above, as well as Health Care Workers (HCW) and Frontline Workers (FLW) as on May 11, according to the department of Health and Family Welfare.
The breakup of those vaccinated shows that 16,017 HCW have received the first dose of Covishield, 13,611 the second dose, and 3984 precautionary doses; while 61,059 FLW have been administered the first dose of Covishield, 48,964 with the second dose, and 21723 precautionary doses.
Data also showed that 221874 people from the 45 years and above category were administered first doses, 1,92,908 persons received the second dose and 4975 received the precautionary dose. Under the category of 18 to 44 years, 5,23,803 persons have received the first dose, 4,04,601 persons received the second dose, and 46 persons have been administered the precautionary dose.
For the age of 15 to 18 years, 68,383 persons were administered the first dose and 38,236 persons received the second dose.
The daily bulletin of the department added that including the first and second doses, Dimapur district had administered 33,296 Covaxin doses; Kohima 16,044 doses; Kiphire 3,369; Mokokchung 10,202; Mon 12,300; Peren 3,221; Phek 7,109; Longleng 2,997; Tuensang 8,839; Wokha 4,813 and Zunheboto 4,429.
Meanwhile, a total of 22,227 CorBEvax vaccines for the age group of 12 to 15 have been administered, in which 18,158 received the first dose and 4,069 received the second dose.
According to the data, Dimapur district has administered 5,155 CorBEvax doses (both first and second doses); Kohima 779 doses; Kiphire 980; Mokokchung 3,205; Mon 4,604; Peren 537, Phek 515; Longleng 596; Tuensang 3,565; Wokha 1,394 and Zunheboto 897.
