Dimapur, Oct. 7 (EMN): Women self help group of Meluri block under the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM), in collaboration with district administration, departments of Agriculture, Forest, JICA and Rural Development, inaugurated a weekly bazaar marketing shed in Meluri town under Phek district on October 7.
The assistant conservator of forest, Dzuthovito Loho, inaugurated the Meluri women’s weekly bazaar.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the EAC of Meluri, Yithachu Thur, stated that the sustenance of a good market, healthy competition between individuals and groups of individuals is essential in a society.
Short speeches were delivered by Phrumasie Nyuthe, SDAO of Meluri; Vivi Nyuthe, NSRLM area coordinator; and Jitsiarhopo, NFMP field coordinator.
The programme was chaired by Tasi Nyusou, finance secretary of block level federation.
