‘Nagaland Lubricants’ inaugurated as exclusive Veedol distributor

DIMAPUR — ‘Nagaland Lubricants,’ a new enterprise, appointed as the exclusive distributor of products by Veedol Corporation Ltd. for Nagaland, was inaugurated on Tuesday at Middle Point Colony, Dimapur, by the chairman of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board, Sedevikho Khro.

On the occasion, the proprietor shared that they have several dealers in Nagaland and have already covered Dimapur, Mon, and Chümoukedima districts, with plans to expand to more districts.

He mentioned that they currently have about 70 to 80 dealers and plan to increase the number to 150 to 200 in due course.

Explaining that ‘Nagaland Lubricants’ is the name he registered in Nagaland, and that the enterprise has taken on the distribution of products by Veedol Corporation Ltd., he said they offer a variety of segments under Veedol, catering to bike lubricants, cars, heavy vehicles, and industrial sectors.

He expressed hope that the enterprise will be able to provide employment opportunities for Nagas and potentially generate revenue for the state government in the future.

Somnath Ghosh, senior manager of Veedol Corporation Ltd., shared that Veedol is a 100-year-old lubricant brand with its head office in Kolkata and is a global company sold in over 100 countries. He informed that this is the first distribution centre in Nagaland.

The special guest of the programme, Sedevikho Khro, said on the occasion that to be successful in life, one must be determined and have strong willpower.
