He added that the various camps and adventure activities they organised such as the ‘All India Trekking Camp’ held in Kohima has provided a wonderful opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent and mingle with youth from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ganesan stated that their training, exposure and motivation have empowered the cadets to join the defense forces, other uniformed and civil services as well as the corporate sector.
“In a state faced with challenges of various kinds, your dedication to service and nation-building stands as a beacon of hope and progress. Your tireless efforts in developing valuable human capital instilled with a sense of purpose, camaraderie, and discipline propel us towards realising the vision of Developed India by 2047.
“Our economic rise and our geo-political clout are now acknowledged globally. To build upon it we need youth organisations such as NCC, focused on the essentials of unity and discipline and the recognition you have received today is not merely an end, but a beginning. It is a reminder that the journey towards excellence is ongoing. It is a call to continue striving, to push boundaries and to set higher standards for yourselves and those who will follow in your footsteps,” the governor added.
He further encouraged the cadets saying that as they celebrate the momentous occasion, they should remember that the accolade brings with it a responsibility—to continue being exemplary citizens, to inspire others and to uphold the values that the NCC instills in each of them. He also expressed hope that the award would fuel their determination to achieve even greater heights to serve with even more dedication and to lead with unwavering integrity.
