Nagaland: Jubilee Memorial College bids farewell to outgoing professors

Mokokchung, Sep. 9 (EMN): The Jubilee Memorial College (JMC) in Mokokhung bade farewell to its outgoing assistant professors namely Limasenla Jamir from the department of Sociology and Moalemla Imchen from the department of English during a programme held at JMC Hall on September 8.
The college principal, Dr. Imtiwati Jamir, in a short speech, has acknowledged both the outgoing professors for their contribution for the betterment of the college.
Short speeches were also delivered by Tsungrosenla Jamir and Lothungbeni Yanthan on behalf of the department of English and Sociology respectively. Yimyatetla also spoke on behalf of the JMC Students Council.
The two outgoing teachers, Limasenla Jamir and Moalemla Imchen, in their farewell speeches, shared their experiences in the college as well as the challenges they faced as new recruits and their personal journeys of growth.
They thanked the college and the faculty for the love and support.
The farewell programme was attended by both the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the JMC Students’ Council.
Orientation for mentors of Arjü Centers
Under the aegis of Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, two orientation programmes for mentors of Arju Centers was organised by Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) at Magnus Hotel on Friday.
The 10-month pilot project was attended by members of 12 Arjü centers.
Resource persons namely Y Nuklu Phom, team leader of Lemsachenok Society, spoke on ‘Relevance of traditional learning centers in modern times’ and Sentilong Ozükum, SDO (C) Mokokchung, spoke on self and society.
