Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema, celebrated a week-long Hindi Week from September 14 to the 20th. The closing ceremony was held at its office premises with the Group Capt. RK Yadav, principal of Sainik School Punglwa as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Yadav has appreciated the efforts made by the institute for converting all the names of boards, sign boards, registers, and seals into bilingual language and using Hindi in day-to-day work. He also motivated the children to enrich their skills and to take up higher studies, an update from ICAR-NRC on Mithun stated.
RK Yadav further called all the schools irrespective of their positioning to give importance on Hindi.
Dr. MH Khan, director of the institute, welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the institute’s process in the use of Rajbhasa Hindi. He urged all the staff members to use Hindi in their official works.
A total of 11 competitions in Hindi were organised for staff members and students during the week-long programme.
