Nagaland Hindi teachers request government to pay their salaries

Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Mon Unit, has expressed dismay over the irregularities in payment of salaries to the Hindi teachers who were appointed in the year 2012-2015.

Maintaining that they can’t continue their task with empty stomach and especially during children’s school admission time, the aggreived teachers have appealed to the state government and the concerned department to release pending salary of the past three months — November, December and January — along with the arrears by the 20th of this month, February.

The press release from the union further stated that they won’t be held responsible if any unwanted situation arises over non payment of salary.
