Dimapur, Aug. 12 (EMN): The ‘Annual Science Exhibition 2022’ of Greenwood Higher Secondary School in Kuda village was held on Friday at the school auditorium with Dr. T Sashimar Jamir, orthopaedic surgeon at Faith Hospital, Dimapur, as the special guest.

An update from the school informed that Dr. Jamir, who is also a former student of the school, shared on the lives and struggles of great scientists and inventors like Issac Newton and Albert Einstein. He stated that despite the lack of facilities, their inventions and discoveries have changed the face of the world.

Stating that students at present have all the advantages and facilities, he urged the students to combine the advantages with hard work and labour to succeed in life.

Jamir said students should build a strong foundation from the very beginning as this would determine their future. He further said that one should always aim for the stars adding, “Even if you don’t reach the stars, you will reach the moon.”

The school’s principal, Nilie Kath, has acknowledged the presence of the parents at the exhibition and stated that their presence was a huge source of motivation.
