Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah greetings
Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): Nagaland Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have greeted the Khiamniungan community and the people of the state on the occasion of Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah festival.
“This festival advocates peaceful co-existence, friendship and reconciliation. It is a time of thanksgiving for the year’s harvest. This vibrant festival also provides a platform for the youngsters to learn the rich and unique cultural values of the Khiamniungans,” read the message from Mukhi.
He went on to wish the people happiness, good health and a prosperous life.
Rio also took to Twitter to greet the Khiamniungan community on the auspicious occasion.
“Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah greetings to the Khiamniungan community. May the festival foster peace, reconciliation and strengthen bonds. My best wishes for a happy and a safe celebration and prayers for abundant blessings in the year ahead,” he wrote.
