Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Ngada festival greetings
Dimapur, Nov. 26 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the Rengma community and the people of the state on the occasion of Ngada festival.
“Ngada is a post-harvest festival and a time of thanksgiving. Ngada has the beautiful underlying essence of purity, forgiveness, brotherhood and unity. Our youths need to carry forward these significant cultural legacies,” read the message from the governor.
He also wished the people good health, peace and prosperity.
Rio also took to Twitter to wish the Rengma community on the auspicious occasion.
“Happy Ngada to our brothers and sisters from the Rengma community. May the festivities strengthen relationships, foster goodwill and bring blessings of good health and prosperity in everyone’s life,” he wrote.
