DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Home Department has notified on the upgradation of Meluri sub-division to a full-fledged district, effective immediately.
The notification dated November 2, stated that the jurisdiction of the new district would comprise the existing Meluri sub-division under Phek district. “This is issued in pursuance of the approval of the Cabinet conveyed vide letter No.CAB-1/14/2023 dated 1st November, 2024”, stated the notification, issued by the Chief Secretary.
