Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): The department of School Education has informed that the Ministry of Jal Shakti, department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, government of India, will organise the 4th national water awards to encourage all stakeholders, including educational institutions, civil society organisations, gram panchayats, urban local bodies, corporate sector and individuals working in the sector for adopting innovative practices of groundwater augmentation, rainwater harvesting, recycling of water and other steps to ensure the creation of a culture of better water resources management.
In this regard, the School Education department has invited interested schools to apply for the same through the website www.awards.gov.in before September 15.
It further informed that the detailed list of categories and other related information for the national awards is available on the department’s website education.nagaland.gov.in.
