Nagaland DGP takes stock of law and order situation, election preparedness

Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): Director General of Police, Nagaland, T John Longkumer, took stock of the law and order situation in the state and the election preparedness of various units of Nagaland Police during a meeting held at Rhododendron Hall, Chümoukedima, on Saturday.

An update informed the meeting was attended by senior police officers from PHQ, commissioner of police, Dimapur, and all SPs and commandants.

Inspector General of Police (Range) and State Police Nodal Officer, Elections, Limasunep Jamir, gave a presentation on election preparedness, while Additional DGP (Law & 0rder), Sandeep M Tamgadge, and IGP (INT), K Martin Pienyu, highlighted law and order issues, it stated.
