Nagaland Cricket Association to conduct trials for U-16 boys, women categories
DIMAPUR— The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) will conduct open trials for U-16 boys and women (all categories) for the upcoming season 2023-24.
The trials will be held from August 1 to the 3rd and for boys U-16, a player should be born between 01-09-2007 and 31-08-2009. In women’s categories, for girls U-15, one should be born between 01-09-2008 and 01-09-2010, for girls U-19 (born on or after 01-09-2004) and women’s U-23 (born on or after 01-09-2003).
The other guideline and conditions are – fitness test will be conducted, all interested players are to contact their respective district cricket associations, all players are to attend the trials at their own expenses, the verification of the player’s documents should be strictly done by respective district cricket associations, players should produce original birth certificate, Aadhar card, Pan card at the time of reporting for further scrutiny of documents.
NCA also informed that respective district cricket associations should submit the player’s list latest by July 29.
Open trials for Men’s U-19, U-23 and senior men’s will be notified at a later date, NCA stated.
