Nagaland Covid update: No new cases; 23 patients recover

Dimapur, Dec. 27 (EMN):
No fresh Covid-19 cases were recorded in Nagaland on Sunday, and the state’s tally remained at 11,897.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘No positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today. 23 positive patients have recovered today: Mon-10, Dimapur-7 and Kohima-6,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 251 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 223 are asymptomatic, 21 mild, three moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and two on ventilator.

The state has also recorded 11,438 recoveries and 78 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 100 cases, followed by Kohima-85, Mokokchung-47, Peren-6, Kiphire-4, Mon, Tuensang and Phek three each while Wokha, Zunheboto and Longleng have zero cases so far.
