Nagaland Covid-19 update: 29 new cases detected; tally at 11283

Dimapur, Dec. 3 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 29 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 11,283.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘29 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday) ; Kohima-15, Dimapur-9, Mon-3 and Mokokchung-2. Also, 52 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-33, Kohima-10, four each in Mon and Tuensang, and one in Phek,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 696 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 626 are asymptomatic, 44 mild, 16 moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and nine critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 10,410 recoveries and 64 deaths, out which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 336 cases, followed by Kohima-283, Tuensang-30, Peren-26, Mon-17, Mokokchung-2, and one each in Zunheboto and Kiphire, while Wokha, Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
