Nagaland Covid-19 update: 152 new cases take state’s tally to 6888

Dimapur, Oct. 9 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 152 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 6888.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“152 positive cases of Covid-19 detected today. Dimapur-133, Kohima-15, Peren Mon, Longleng and Mokokchung 1 each,” tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1301 active Covid-19 cases. It has also recorded 5510 recoveries and 17 deaths so far.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 825, followed by Kohima-283, Mon-82, Tuensang-31, Mokokchung and Peren with 12 each, Longleng-2 and Phek-1, while Wokha, Zunheboto and Kiphire have zero case so far.
