Nagaland CM, NSF greet educators on eve of Teachers’ Day
Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio on Sunday greeted the teaching fraternity on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
“Teachers play a pivotal role in shaping students to become responsible citizens and inculcate necessary life skills. Grateful to them for their invaluable contribution towards nation-building,” he said.
The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) also extended greetings to all the teachers across the Naga inhibited areas on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
NSF stated that it appreciated the role of teachers in their “crucial responsibility in imparting knowledge and inculcating the noble virtues of life in the hearts and minds of students to become responsible citizens.”
“The efforts and hard work put in by the teachers, despite the various bottlenecks and other technological constrains, to adapt with the continuous cycle of education by keeping students engaged with their academic and other educational activities is well appreciated.
“As the Naga people aspire towards a vibrant Naga society, it is our confidence that our students’ community are in ‘noble and qualified’ hands which will usher the younger generation of Nagas into a new era of peace and prosperity,” read the statement.
It further acknowledged the contribution of teachers to the student community and society and also wished them success in the pursuit of all their endeavours.
