Nagaland: CHS cultural day celebration underway in Longleng

Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): The 10th cultural day celebration of Christian High School in Longleng town got underway at the school’s hall on September 7 on the theme ‘Manifest cultural through knowledge.’ The celebration would culminate on September 10.

Speaking at the inaugural function, the president of Phom Students’ Conference (PSC), N Dape Phom, shared his past experiences and encouraged the students to focus on studies and achieve their dreams. He has termed the present generation ‘fortunate’ as they are moulded and shaped in every possible way.

He also inaugurated the school magazine ‘Acquire.’

The highlights of the programme included presentation of choreography, songs, dances, cultural display and an exhibition on Science and handicrafts.

N Chingpong, proprietor of CHS Longleng, also spoke on the occasion, while the welcome address was delivered by the school’s headmaster, Shiju Antony, and concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Henshak.
