Nagaland: Block level SMC, SMDC training in Phek district

Dimapur, March 18 (EMN): The block level School Management Committee (SMC)/School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) training was conducted in Phek district.

The training programme was led led by the team leader from the State Mission Office, Kohima, Dr. Chumbeni Kikon, joint mission director along with Vilvino, special officer, Rukuzo Hoshi, coordinator and Vinoka Zhimo, coordinator, a press release informed.

The training started from Phek block on February 28 (105 participants), Meluri Block on March 1 (104 participants), Pfutsero block on March 4 (112 participants) and Chozuba block on March 7 (107 participants).

Topics on roles and responsibilities of SMC/ SMDC, school grants, inclusive education, children with special needs, vocational education, school safety, NIPUN Bharat were covered during the training.
