DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) has extended Chhath Puja greetings and best wishes to all devotees and well-wishers.
“As we come together to worship the Sun God and Chhath Maiya, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and unity of our Bhojpuri culture and traditions, carried forward with great devotion across generations and geographies,” the NBS said in a message.
“Chhath Puja is a festival of immense significance, marked by purity, discipline, and selfless devotion. It teaches us gratitude and the power of faith as we offer our humble prayers to the setting and rising Sun, seeking blessings for a life filled with health, happiness, and harmony,” it added.
According to the samaj, Chhath Puja celebrations will begin on November 5 with Nahai Khai and end on November 8, paying obeisance to the rising sun.
