Nagaland, Assam governments serious to solve border issue – Imna Along

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along, stated that governments of Nagaland and Assam are cooperating with each other to solve border issues between the two states.
Speaking to media on the sideline of an event, Along said the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sharma, is cooperating with the Nagaland government to solve the border issue.
“Dr. @himantabiswa Dangoria has always played a pivotal role in fostering brotherhood and promoting unity amongst the northeastern states of India,” Along stated in a Twitter update.
He also assured that the government of Nagaland under the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton, is working seriously to solve the issue. He added that both the governments are trying to solve the border issue in an amicable manner.
“The Assam-Nagaland border issue will also be resolved in the best interest of the people of both the states under the dynamic leadership of the HCM of Assam, Dr. @himantabiswa Dangoria, HCM of Nagaland, Shri. @Neiphiu_Rio and Hon Dy CM of Nagaland, Shri. @YanthungoPatton,” he tweeted.
