Nagaland announces intensified Covid-19 vaccination drive from June 8 to 18th

Dimapur, June 7 (EMN): The department of Health and Family Welfare is conducting intensified Covid vaccination drive from June 8 to the 18th for people in 18-44 age group and those aged 45 and above.

Principal Director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao informed through a notification that ‘all health facilities and outreach session sites in urban colonies and villages will be covered from Monday to Friday during the vaccination window.

“You may contact your village / Panchayat Chairman/ MO i/c, ANM, ASHA, Anganwadi as to when the session will be conducted in your village/ colony. Other than those CVCs shared by district officials for online registration and booking, all other session will be on-site registration and vaccination. People with disability are also requested to contact health workers in your area, who will give special priority to get you vaccinated,” read the press release.

All beneficiaries have been requested to avail the opportunity to get Covishield vaccination and also advised to maintain Covid-appropriate behaviour.
