Delegates and speakers of third biennial youth conference of Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland held at Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum mission center, Mon.

Dimapur, Oct. 10 (EMN): The third biennial youth conference of Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) was held at Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (KBBB) mission center, Mon, from October 7 to the 9th with the theme ‘Be still and know that I am God.’ 

A press note from AGBCN stated that 421 delegates from 42 churches attended the conference with Adrian Dewan, a song writer and worship leader from Nepal, and Uma Magar, deputy executive director, International Needs Network, Nepal, as the main speakers.

During the conference, which had speakers from various fields, the youths were encouraged to have the spirit and passion of dignity of labour. The conference included praise and worship, exhibition of Gorkha culture, battle of bands and cultural dance competition.

Youth secretary of AGBCN, Shishir Lama, encouraged the youths to stand firm in their commitment until the next youth conference in 2024, it stated.
