Nagaland: 1st U-16 football bumper held at Nihokhu village

Dimapur, Aug. 13 (EMN): The Ato area comprising 11 villages held its 1st Under-16 football bumper at Nihokhu village.

It was held under the aegis of Ato Area Sports Association (AASA) under Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA), an update stated.

The event was inaugurated by Sheyipu Head Gb Hozukhe village, Chairman Ato Area Gb’s Association (AAGBA). Vikuto Zhimomi, President, WSSA also exhorted the young players and wished them success in future life.

Hozukhe village was the overall champion of the event while Nihokhu village was the runner-up.

Hinoto from Hozukhe village was declared the best player; Kupuvi from Hozukhe village the highest scorer; Vika from Hozukhe village the best goal keeper and  Tokito from Nihokhu village the best defender.
