NACWR demands swift justice for victims of sexual abuse
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Alliance for Children and Women Rights (NACWR) has condemned the alleged sexual abuse of minors by Robert Kikon, the former Senior Pastor of the Father’s House Church, and called for swift justice as well as rehabilitation of the victims.
In a press release issued on Monday, the alliance demanded that the accused preacher should be charged under Section 21 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act.
“The NACWR calls for swift justice, including the protection, rescue, and rehabilitation of the victims. We urge the authorities to ensure a fair and timely trial. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families, who are undoubtedly suffering immense trauma. We stand in solidarity with them and demand that their voices be heard and their rights upheld,” it stated.
