MoS for Minority Affairs calls on Nagaland Chief Minister
Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): The Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, John Barla, called on Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Saturday evening and had a detailed discussion on the ongoing projects implemented under his ministry.
Barla also apprised new guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, wherein the tribal populations in all the districts of Nagaland will be covered under the ministry, updated DIPR.
The minister assured that all possible help would be extended to fulfil the developmental aspirations of the state, including sectors like health, education, skill development, sports, women empowerment, rural development, sanitation, etc.
Rio also took to Twitter to thank the minister. “Grateful to him for his concern for Nagaland and looking forward to his continued support in the days to come,” he said.
