More than 15 lakh Covid vaccines administered in Nagaland

Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): Nagaland has administered a total of 15,05,295 Covid vaccine doses –14,69,154 Covishield, 7,134 Sputnik V and 29,007 precautionary doses — for the age group of 18 and above as well as Health Care Workers (HCW) and Frontline Workers (FLW) as on April 26, according to the department of Health and Family Welfare.
The breakup of those vaccinated shows that 16,017 HCW have received the first dose of Covishield, 13,611 received the second dose, and 3833 precautionary doses; while 61,059 FLW have been administered the first dose of Covishield, 48,956 with the second dose, and 20827 received precautionary doses.
Data also showed that 220949 people of the 45 years and above category were administered first doses of Covishield and 1,91,355 persons received the second dose. Meanwhile, 818 persons and 770 persons received the first and second dose of Sputnik V under the same category, and 4347 received the precautionary dose.
Under the category of 18 to 44 years, 5,20,101 persons have received the first dose of Covishield and 3,97,106 persons the second dose, whereas 2960 persons received the first dose of Sputnik V and 2,586 persons the second dose.
Covaxin for the age of 15 to 18 years have been administered to 1,02,718, in which 67057 received the first dose and 35661 received the second dose.
The daily bulletin of the department added that Dimapur district has administered 32446 Covaxin doses, Kohima has administered 15,823 doses, Kiphire 2,965, Mokokchung 9656, Mon 11,686, Peren 2,983, Phek 6,947, Longleng 2,932, Tuensang 9,438, Wokha 4,444 and Zunheboto 4,341.
Meanwhile, CorBEvax vaccine for the age group of 12 to 15 years has been administered to 15,088 teenagers, in which 14592 received the first dose and 496 received the second dose.
According to the data, Dimapur district has administered 3755 CorBEvax doses, Kohima 631 doses, Kiphire 601, Mokokchung 2,128, Mon 3067, Peren 361 , Phek 420 , Longleng 445, Tuensang 2,246, Wokha 695 and Zunheboto 739.
