More than 13 lakh doses of vaccines administered in Nagaland

Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): As many as 13,40,872 (13.40 lakh) doses of vaccines — Covishield and Sputnik V — have been administered in Nagaland as on January  6.

According to the data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, a total of 13,34,495 doses of Covishield — 7,57,734 first dose and 5,76,761 second dose — have been administered in the state.

The number of Sputnik V vaccine doses administered so far stands at 6,377 — 3,476 first dose and 2,901 second dose.

The breakup of those vaccinated showed that 16,005 Health Care Workers (HCWs) have received the first dose of covishield and 13,543 HCWS the second dose, while  60,985 Frontline workers (FLW) have received the first dose of Covishield and 48,627 the second dose.

The data also showed that 2,13,554 people belonging to 45 years and above age group have received the first dose of Covishield and 1,78,841 the second doses. Meanwhile, 754 persons and 700 persons have received the first and second dose of Sputnik V respectively under the same age category.

Among the 18 to 44 years eligible beneficiaries, 4,67,190 persons have received the first dose of Covishield and 3,35, the second dose, whereas 2,722 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 2,201 the second dose.
