Briefing media persons at Penli Ward Community Hall, the Ao Senden condemned the extension of nomination date and asked “why the government is extending the filing of nomination date in the interest of some from few persons when people does not wish to have elections for urban bodies because it infringe upon Naga customary law and practices.”

Meanwhile, the Ao Senden has called upon citizens to gather at the Mokokchung deputy commissioner’s office premises at 8:30 am on Sunday.
