Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem commends PWD for pothole repairs

DIMAPUR — The Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (youth organisation) has appreciated the PWD (National Highway), Mokokchung division, for repairing the potholes in and around Mokokchung town.

It stated that the citizens of Mokokchung town were facing a lot of hardships due to the deteriorating road conditions for quite some time. It was added that the hardships were compounded by the ever-increasing number of vehicles and the monsoon season.

It mentioned that on verbal request by the MTLT officials to the PWD (National Highway), Mokokchung division, the department officials led by its executive engineer, Limatoshi, and his officers took up the work and repaired it within two days. It stated that such prompt action which mitigated the hardships of the people needs to be appreciated by all.

MTLT has expressed appreciation to the department for executing the work.

Meanwhile, it appealed to all the departments in the district to take cognizance of the public needs and do the needful for the development of the town. It further stated that in consonance with its motto ‘Always vigilant,’ MTLT would keep track of all the developmental activities in the town.
