DIMAPUR — The office of the District Youth Resources Officer (YRO), Mokokchung, has announced that it would organise a district-level youth festival for young individuals aged between 16 to 29 years in Mokokchung district.
According to a DIPR report, the festival would be a celebration of youthful talent and culture, featuring folk song and folk dance competitions.
For the folk song competition, each participating group would consist of a minimum of six members and a maximum of 10 members, while for folk dance competition, each participating group would consist of a minimum of 10 members and a maximum of 15 members.
The winners of the folk song competition would receive a cash award of INR 3000 and the runners-up would receive a cash prize of INR 2000.
The winners of the folk dance competition would receive a cash prize of INR 5000 and the runners-up would receive INR 3000.
It informed that the winners at the district-level would represent Mokokchung district at the youth festival in Kohima.
