Mokokchung police hands over vehicle to rightful owners

Mokokchung, Aug. 18 (EMN): In connection with the ‘Mokokchung police busted inter-district vehicles theft gang and recovered of 10 vehicles’ reported by this newspaper on June 8, the authority on Wednesday handed over eight vehicles to the rightful owners after proper verification.

As mentioned in the earlier report on June 8, the Mokokchung police arrested seven persons in this connection and the recovered vehicles which were kept under its custody.

“The seven vehicles and a motorcycle were handed over to the owners after proper verification,” said a statement from SP Mokokchung on August 18. Sources further informed that the remaining vehicles are expected to be handed over to the owners after proper identification.
