Mokokchung Police apprehends bike lifters

MOKOKCHUNG — Mokokchung police arrested two bike lifters and recovered two stolen bikes from their possession on August 9.

The bike lifters have been identified as C Khamba (23 years) and Pangjei Konyak (22 years), both from Ukha village under Tobu PO/PS in Mon district.

The recovered two bikes are a Yamaha MT 15 (black and white), registration number NL 07M 2380, and a Royal Enfield (black), registration number AS OIPE 1351.

In this connection, a criminal case has been registered against the two arrested individuals at Police Station II Mokokchung, under Case No. 0013/2024 U/S 303(2)/3(5) BNS. The case is currently under investigation.

The Mokokchung police further requested the public to submit online complaints regarding stolen vehicles at https://forms.gle/VmbNSFcT3tgJiKok7, in addition to filing physical complaints at police stations.
