Avancer band after winning the MJGF Battle of the bands held at IIT Roorke, Uttarakand at their annual festival Thomso 2014 held from 31st-2nd Nov. Besides being awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000, the band also played the opening show for renowned Bollywood singer KK and also received direct entry to perform at Channel V India Fest to be held at Goa in January 2015.
The band extended their profound gratitude to Er. Lanu Longchar, Executive Engineer, Flood and Irrigation control, Govt. of Nagaland for sponsoring the trip. Altogether 15 bands from all over India participated in the event.
