Minister Neiba Kronu visits health centre at Meluri

Dimapur, April 25 (EMN): Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Neiba Kronu on Saturday visited Primary Health Centre (PHC) Meluri and interacted with the administration, security personnel, Pochury Hoho and public leaders.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Chubatemjen and staff, Medical Officer Dr. Chukhusie and team, Pochury Hoho members, and public leaders who were present during the interaction shared the grievances of the sub-division, an update received here stated. 

Lauding the efforts of the administration and the citizens of the sub-division, the minister appealed to the people of Pochury to join hands together in the fight against Covid-19 by extending full cooperation towards the administration and NGOs.

He also appealed the leaders to fight for the cause of humanity irrespective of party colours.

Calling upon the people to adopt work culture and engaged in farming activities with dedication to survive on one’s own, Kronu said ‘we should be able to survive without depending on mainland India for essential commodities.’

Stating that Nagaland is not facing shortage of essential commodities, he urged the people not to be panic. He also appealed to the administration to closely monitor in utilisation of the commodities in consultation with public leaders.

The Pochury Hoho president said Meluri being the border of Myanmar and Manipur, is facing several hurdles. He however, assured that citizens along with the administration will continue in the fight against the pandemic under the banner together “we can.”
