Troops of 45 Assam Rifles of 9 sector Assam Rifles uner the aegis of Hd Qaurters, Inspector General Assam Rifles (IGAR South), apprehended a cadre of outlawed United Revolutionary Front (URF) from Pangei village in Manipur’s Imphal East district on July 19 last, said a press release issued by PRO, Assam Rifles. The apprehended URF cadre was identified as Regan Singh (19) of Meitram Makha Leikai of Manipur’s Bishnupur district the release said adding that the arrested militant was handed over to Heingang police station of Manipur’s Imphal East district.
