Mika Singh out on bail, hours after being arrested

Popular singer Mika Singh was granted bail hours after being arrested by the Delhi Police on Thursday in connection with an incident where he slapped a doctor at a concert on April 12, 2015.
Mika Singh, who had slapped an ophthalmologist during the event in New Delhi, was taken to the Inderpuri police station.The Mika Singh Live-in-concert was co-ordinated by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society as a part of the three-day conference. While performing, the singer had warned one of the male doctors – who kept on coming and dancing where the women were dancing. Annoyed with the doctor, Mika had called him onto the stage and slapped him.
Later, the Indian Medical Association asked to boycott the singer and demanded for his arrest.
