DIMAPUR— Modern Higher Secondary School (MHSS) organised the final round of debate competition on Friday on the topic “Is G-20 focusing on its motto one earth, one family, one future” with Kaimangchoba as the moderator.
An update from the school stated that the participants debated on various issues highlighting on the motto. It added that the group for the motion counted on points like green revolution, sustainable development, while the opposition counter attacked with issues like global warming, economic inequality.
A song was presented by Kezhazeno Thepa on the occasion.
It stated that the opposition team emerged as the winner and Levi Langkithonger was declared as the best debater of the competition.
The competition concluded with presentation of cash awards and citation by the school principal, A Nenia Theresa.
Report also stated that the school has organised a motivational talk on ‘How to become a topper’ on June 15 with Chinia Kayina, HSLC 2023 top 17.
It stated that Chinia Kayina shared her story on how she mentally prepared for the exam and encouraged the students to dream big and become toppers of the school.
The program was attended by students from class 8 to 10 including teachers and the managing director.
