Mon District Badminton Association (MDBA) conducted a District Level Selection Tournament from 9th July 2015 and concluded on 11th July 2015 at Badminton Stadium Mon Town for the coming Inter District Badminton Tournament. The opening programm was graced by Project Director (DRDA) Imnukshila Jamir and the closing ceremony was graced by W.Chingang, General Manager DIC.The tournament was held in six categories i.e veteran doubles, women doubles, mixed doubles and under 13, 17 and 19. The tournament was conducted for three days and the finalist are as follows,
1. Boys single (under 15) Winner – Shenwang. Runner’s-up – Tongmei.
2. Girls single (under 15) Winner – Holy. Runner’s-up – Mongyin.
3. Boys single (under 19) Winner – Leihong. Runner’s-up – Nokpon.
4. Women’s double Winner – Ngapnon and Thronlem. Runner’s-up – Mongyo and Rhenon
5. Mixed double – Winner – Penman and Thronlem. Runner’s-up – Dr.Chenjei and Wanshom.
6. Veteran double – Winner – Michael and Moakum.
