KOHIMA — The Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School (MHBHSS), in collaboration with the Youth department of Ministers’ Hill Baptist Church (MHBC), organised a musical evening on the theme “Echoes of kindness” on Saturday night in Kohima.

A host of artistes including the students, staff, alumni members of the school and youth members of the church mesmerised the audience with their presentation through songs.

Moko Koza also serenaded the audience with his numbers including “Happy Day” and “One Day,” while other performers including Neikhrieo Üsou, Keduokhrietuo Üsou, Symphony Academy of Music, Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts, and New Dawn made special appearance.

The convenor of the organising committee, Dr. Kedise Pucho, informed that Salhoutuonuo Kruse, minister of Women Resource Development and Horticulture, attended the event and exhorted the students to focus on their studies to achieve their aims.

Jongshijiba Ozukum, the school’s principal, expressed gratitude to all who have contributed to the event, which was organised in aid for the construction of a new school building.

The musical show was hosted by Abeni Tungoe and Kikrulhoubei Kire, which began with a Bible citation by students of Class A and followed with an invocation prayer said by Vimegokho Chüsi, lead pastor of MHBC.

The musical event, which also featured acts, dances, choreography and instrumental performances, concluded with a benediction said by Rongsenzenla Aier, the school’s chaplain.
