Dimapur, April 10 (EMN): The marketing shed constructed under RKVY 2016-17 by the department of Agriculture was inaugurated by Vizonyu Liezie, District Agriculture Officer, Kohima on April 6 at Army General Staff Road and New Teichuma village junction, under Chiebhobozou Block.
Speaking at the inaugural programme DAO stressed the importance of having marketing shed in the area as it help the local farmers to sell their produces.
On behalf of the villagers, village council chairman, Teichuma thanked the department for constructing such shed which is first of its kind in the area and expressed hope that it will help the farmers to improve their economy by selling their agricultural produces.
The programme was chaired by Myanthung Patton SDAO, Kohima while vote of thanks was proposed by Thepfüriya, RKVY chairman, Chiebhobozou Block.
