Mahindra to launch new Scorpio-N SUV tomorrow
Dimapur, June 26 (EMN): Indian car manufacturer Mahindra is all set to launch the long-awaited new Scorpio-N in India tomorrow. At launch, the next-generation SUV is expected to be offered in five variants with two engine options.
On its Twitter page, Mahindra wrote, “Buckle up, All-New Scorpio-N is all-set to make a legendary debut tomorrow. Tune in at 5:30 pm to watch the world premiere.”

Dubbed as the “Big Daddy of SUVs,” the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will have major design and feature upgrades. For instance, it will be larger in terms of dimensions than previous-generation models and will come with a new AdrenoX touchscreen infotainment system.
Ahead of the launch tomorrow, here are a few details that we know about the brand new Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Pricing
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is rumoured to be priced more than its predecessors with reports suggesting that the expected price would be begin from INR 13.65 lakh all the way up to INR 19 lakh for the top-end variant.
Mahindra Scorpio-N engine and transmission
The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be powered by either a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder mStallion turbo-petrol engine or a a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Reports say that a 4WD system may be offered only for higher variants of the diesel versions.
Leaks suggest that the company will offer the SUV in five variants, namely Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. There might be additional options for six-seat and seven-seat layouts.
Mahindra Scorpio-N design and features
In terms of design, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will come with new LED projector headlamps, fog lights with C-shaped LED DRLs and new front and rear bumpers. On the front, the SUV will feature its iconic six-slat chrome-finished grille along with the new Mahindra logo as seen on the XUV700.
On the inside, the Mahindra Scorpio-N will get dual-zone temperature control, an electric sunroof, AdrenoX touchscreen infotainment system, a Sony-sourced music system, wireless charging, dual-tone interior theme, a revised centre console, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, an engine start-stop button, as well as front and rear parking cameras.
The all new touchscreen infotainment system will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
