Dimapur, August 11 (EMN): Expressing concern over the pathetic road condition of Wokha-Merapani road, the Lotha Students Union (LSU) Okying Wokha, has appealed the PWD department to repair and do necessary arrangement to make the road pliable for all vehicles immediately for the common cause.
The press release issued by LSU president, Lipemo M Tsopoe and general secretary, Ashanthung Humtsoe, also requested the DHEP NEEPCO to assist with machineries for clearing landslide and the C.S Infra Pvt. Ltd. to complete the survey and start the work at the earliest. Further, they appealed the concerned contractor to start the NH-2 road at the earliest.
Meanwhile, LSU extended its appreciation and support to the indefinite bandh of goods carrier vehicles called by All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) Wokha, at Wokha-Merapani Road.
