Nuklutoshi Longkumer appointed leader of NPP legislature party
The National People’s Party (NPP) on Thursday appointed Nuklutoshi Longkumer as leader of NPP legislature party.
National General Secretary, Organisation, NPP, Thomas A Sangma, in a press statement, stated that the appointment was made as per the instruction of the National President, NPP, Conrad K Sangma and as per the proposal of the NPP Nagaland state.
Longkumer is the elected legislator from 22 Arkakong Assembly Constituency (AC).
Meanwhile, legislator from 9 Kohima Town AC, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, has been appointed as Chief Whip of the NPP, Nagaland state.
It may be mentioned that in the recently concluded general Election, the NPP elected five legislators.
Sources informed that the NPP Nagaland meeting was held on Thursday in Kohima with state executives and legislators in the presence of James K Sangma, NPP national treasurer and Thomas A Sangma, NPP National General Secretary (Organisation).
