DIMAPUR — S Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, visited Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland, on Monday and unveiled the school’s annual magazine, ‘Vibrant Strings 2023-24’.
According to an update from the school, Jamir, who was received by Colonel Arvind Nautiyal, principal, also laid a wreath at the Amar Jawan memorial to honour the sacrifices of the brave soldiers and was accorded a guard of honour by the cadets of the Independent NCC Coy.
Jamir, speaking on the occasion, underscored the significance of discipline, leadership, and patriotism in shaping the future of the nation.
The event also featured a short cultural programme in which cadets showcased their diverse talents through various performances.
