LMSSOC: Donching Yangmei FC ‘B’ and Sunaki FC Longra through to quarter

Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): In the last league match in Pool C on Wednesday, Donching Yangmei FC ‘B’ defeated Vetao Ayie FC by 3-1. The first and second goal for Donching Yangmei FC ‘B’ was scored by Osen in the 22nd minute of the first half and 41st minute of the second half. Vetao Ayie recovered after Thungem found the first breakthrough in the 43rd minute making the score line at 2-1. But in the final 4th minute Desingem increased the lead by scoring the third goal for Donching Yangmei ‘B’ and ended the match with the scoreline at 3-1 in favour of Donching Yangmei ‘B’. Hence, DEF Tuensang are through for the quarterfinal playoff from Pool C along with the already qualified Donching Yangmei FC ‘B’.
In another one-sided second match of the day, Sunaki FC Longra thrashed High Hill Club 6-0. In the first half, Imlongchaba found the first breakthrough in the 6th minute, second goal was scored by Sekhose in the 11th minute, later Yhanshalo scored the third and fourth goal in the 12th and 14th minute. In the second half, both the goals came through the boots of Sekhose in the 32nd and 59th minute and completed his first hat trick in this tournament. In Pool D, Khulioh King FC and Sangzi FC are through for the quarterfinal playoff.
