Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): The students of Loyola Higher Secondary School (LHSS) Jakhama will now get the chance to get guitar lessons as the institute has started music (guitar) as a co-curricular activity. The school has taken up the initiative to help the students realise their hidden dreams and capabilities.

The Task Force for Music and Arts (earlier called Music Task Force) director Dr. Hovithal Sothu, who is also an alumni of the school, addressed the students during the inaugural programme on July 24, informed a press release.

In his address, he said that “music is life and therefore all should learn professional music at least to a certain level.” He added that all Nagas are blessed with the gift of music but only those who are willing to take it up seriously will excel.

Vilhou Kezo will teach give guitar lesson to the students of the school this year.

The school has informed that it is planning to give drums and keyboard/piano lessons in the future.
