LED advertising boards fitted to Clock Tower in Dimapur
DIMAPUR — Light-emitting diode (LED) advertising boards put up by Kina Advertising Agency on the Clock Tower in the commercial hub was officially launched by administrator of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), Manpai Phom on Saturday.
The digital advertising boards are placed on all four sides of the tower.
The digital advertising screen measuring a total 448 sq ft (four sides) is reported to be one of the biggest advertising screens in the Northeast. The P4.9 display can also play 4k-8k videos, updated Kiniholi Jakha, the director of Kina Advertising Agency.
The rates for advertisement ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 2,50,000, depending on the length of the videos and playtime. There are also one-day plans for birthdays, anniversaries, show room openings and others, with price ranging from INR 3,000 to INR 10,000 per day.
An advertisement will be played in all the four sides of the board.
Addressing the launching programme, the DMC administrator said that it is a new concept in Dimapur and he wants to see the city grow in this aspect.
Phom said that in due course of time, the governing condition of this type of advertisement will be updated and taken further.
He further encouraged local entrepreneurs by saying it is high time that they come out and take part in varied business ventures.
“It is not just about making huge gain, but we should look for sustenance and mutual development which will have an impact on our society and boost our economy,” he said.
Rev. Hokheto Chophy, pastor of Thilixu village Baptist Church, led the dedicatory prayer.
